In 1987, the Exchange and International Programs Support Center (CIP) was created. Its main objective was to develop programs to allow the university community to exchange cultural experiences and to improve their foreign languages skills. Ten years later, its name was changed to International Affairs Office (INT), designation more suitable to the University's policy and interests, regarding the implementation of new technical, scientific and cultural cooperation agreements with international institutions.
