MASTER/DOCTORAL STUDENTS

 

Requirements

 a) To be a regular student at one of UnB’s partner institutions;

 b) To be nominated by the partner institution;

 c) To present a statement of financial support for the whole exchange period;

 d) To have a minimum level of Portuguese to attend the classes (no specific certificate is required);

 

How to apply 

After nominated by the institution, the exchange student must send to the e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. the following documents (scanned separately):

 a) Application Form 

 b) Copy of passport; 

 c) Transcript of Records of all Higher Education Courses successfully completed; 

 d) Letter of Introduction from your home Institution duly signed by the person in charge of the exchange program; 

 e) Curriculum Vitae; 

 f) A statement of sufficient funds or funding to support the student during the intended period of study in Brasilia; 

 g) Research project based on internationally accepted academic standards; 

 h) Copy of all Higher Education previous diplomas obtained; 

After sending the documents, the student has to wait for the Admission Letter signed by UnB’s Decanato de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação. After that, the student has to go to INT/UnB, before the term starts, based on the Academic Calendar, to register at the university and start the classes. 

 

Upon the arrival at UnB, the Exchange student must submit the following documents to INT/UnB staff:

 a) Passport;

 b) Student visa VITEM IV – Temporary visa IV;

 c) International health insurance; 

 d) Undergraduate transcript of records (original); 

 e) Undergraduate diploma or certificate of completion (original);

 

All the documents must be sent in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
